Application registration from October 15 to November 5, 2012 Fees : Rs 50 for reserved category and Rs 400 for General category students, Process : Register your-self and take a print of a challan; pay the fees at any branch of Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India.
Online examination : December 2012 / January 2013
Age to be minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 1st October, 2012 (+ years for SC & ST candidates, + 3 years for OBC candidates)
Educational Qualification: Under graduate in any discipline as on 1st October, 2012
Computer knowledge is compulsory (certificate from computer institute or must have tudied computer at school or college level)
Ability to read/write/speak in local language of the state applying for is necessary
200 questions with 1 mark each will be asked at the online objective type written test, with 0.25 marks as negative marking for each wrong answer.
The test paper will comprise reasoning, English, Numerical ability, General awareness and Computer knowledge with even weightage.
All those passing CWE shall appear common interviews, and on the basis of their over-all performance IBPS will prepare the merit list. Then the no of vacancies will be declared as per the requirement of the member banks (State and category wise), for which the candidates may apply as per their choice.
Depending on the final scores and no of available post and choice submitted, banks will intimate about their selection.
